Today we announced a procurement of small-caliber ammunition, which aim is to provide the Estonian Defense Forces and the Estonian Defense League with the necessary ammunition. The deadline for the procurement is 25th of May, 2020. The framework contract is planned to be signed this year. The total estimated cost of the procurement is 50 million euros. The type of procurement is a competitive negotiated procurement in the field of defense and security. The framework agreement is concluded for up to 7 years (4 + 3). The first delivery dates will be announced during the mini-tenders. In the market research process, we noticed that the interest for the procurement of consolidated ammunition was high among both Estonian and global ammunition manufacturers.
